In light of this, the Bank would like to hire competent candidates for the following open positions and extend an invitation to interested parties who meet the requirements for work experience and minimal qualifications.

Position 1: Banking Business Officer I

Minimum qualification and work experience: BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting or other business-related fields with 1 year of banking operation experience.

Core competencies:

  • Experience with Sales and Marketing for Customers
  • Knowledge of IFB products
  • Problem Identification and Resolution

Language: Knowledge of native language is advantageous

Place of work: Jimma

Position 2: Branch Manager

Qualification: BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting or other business-related fields with 5 years of banking operation experience respectively of which 2 years as senior officer/customer service manager or equivalent role in branch banking area.

Core competencies:

  • Branch management; creating a high-performing team;
  • time management and commitment;
  • problem-solving; coaching and mentoring;
  • internal control; proficient communication;
  • aptitude for sales and marketing; and skill in negotiation.
  • familiarity with the main banking applications

Place of work: Jimma
