Position: Maintenance Controller

Skills, Experience & Education:

a first degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering and three years or more of experience managing maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
The role is designed to answer to the relevant unit manager and will be in charge of making sure the line is always ready for production, producing at the designated speed and flawless quality with the least amount of waste by carrying out maintenance as efficiently as possible.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Asset Care

• Participate in the creation of the packaging plant’s asset care plan by offering recommendations and professional guidance.

• Assist in carrying out the Packaging Plant’s asset care plan, making sure that the MASs, PAs, and operational teams possess the necessary technical know-how to carry it out.

2. Plant Reliability

• Responsible for the reliability and uptime of the Packaging plant.

• Ensure the execution of maintenance / extended maintenance work

3. Plant Optimization

•Analyze the effects of new machinery and plants and suggest modifications.

• Be familiar with the operation of the plant and the relevant work instructions and/or procedures.

4. Team Leadership and Management

• Lead the MAS’s team in a manner that engenders ownership, empowerment, and team interaction.

• Lead the development of MAS’s team goals and ensure these are communicated and understood by team members.

5. Safety and Housekeeping

•As the team members perform their duties, make sure they follow all safety and housekeeping protocols and comply with all applicable laws.
