For the post of Agriculture Specialist and Gardener, the U.S. Mission in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia is currently accepting applications from suitably qualified candidates. Position 1: Agriculture Specialist
Requirements:
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics, Food and Agricultural Marketing, Agriculture, Agribusiness, or International Trade is required.

For Grade LE 10 is: Minimum four years of work experience in one or more fields of agricultural economics, agricultural policy, commodity trade, and marketing analysis/research that includes extensive analysis and report writing on complex subjects.

LANGUAGE:-
- Level 4 (Fluent) Speaking/Reading/Writing English is required. (This may be tested)
- Level 3 (good working knowledge) Arabic, French, Portuguese, Spanish, or Kiswahili or any other African language reading/writing/ speaking is required (This may be tested)
The Agricultural Specialist (mid-level specialist) is responsible for representing the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) in Addis Ababa vis a vis the African Union.
Salary: USD $19,728 – USD $43,420 /Per Year
Position 2: Gardener
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of two (2) years of gardening experience is required.
