Role: Driver

Assignment Location: Abergelle Yechilla, Tigray

The contract’s duration is one year, renewable after a sixty-day probationary term.

Pay: In accordance with the organization’s wage scale

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES ESSENTIAL

1. Makes sure the designated vehicle is operating correctly so that user departments are prepared.

2. Before driving, make sure all necessary components are present and operating correctly, including the oil, water, and tires, in order to prepare the user departments.

3. Provides user departments with diligent transportation services in order to support mission execution.

4. Maintains accurate and well-organized mileage records to ensure that user departments’ mileage charges are completed correctly.

5. Keeps the designated cars clean in order to please user departments.

6. Make certain that the designated vehicle is serviced promptly in order to provide the user department with the necessary services.

7. Gather and deliver mail on a regular basis to and from the post office; turn it over to the appropriate entity.

8. Resolves the organization’s bills.

9. Handles check exchanges and bank transfers

Give employees enough time to attend seminars on gender sensitivity and associated activities.

Encourage candid and frequent conversations with employees on the workplace culture, rules, and principles that pertain to gender problems.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

High school graduation and two years of relevant experience, ideally in an NGO context, are prerequisites.
It is beneficial to have a third-grade driver’s license and prior driving experience.
Proficiency in Language

Proficiency in Tigrigna, the local language, is preferred; It is beneficial to speak and write English fluently.
