One to four of the kids who achieved excellent city-level scores this year were from public schools, according to the school’s head, suggesting that the gap between private and public education is closing. Grade 12 National Examination
The 2017 Grade 12 National Examination, which was announced yesterday and is being administered online by the Addis Abeba City Administration, is taking place today.
(June 24/2017) The municipal government administers the test fully online at 108 exam locations. It is known that in order for the test to be successful, students were given a practice exam, enough orientation was provided, and many preparation tasks, including constructing the infrastructure at each examination location, were completed.
More than 13,000 students are taking the test online today, in the first round of the second day. The Minister of Education, Professor Berhanu Nega, the Head of the Addis Abeba City Administration Education Bureau, Dr. Zelalem, the Deputy Head of the Bureau, Ato Dinaol Chala, and Ato Samson Melese, along with the students, visited the Adwa Victory Memorial and the Obrohet Library, two of the test sites, and encouraged them to begin the second day of the exam.
